About The Position

This position is responsible for administering, organizing, and processing invoicing for Divisional Headquarters. The role serves as a liaison for other departments and/or other locations seeking information pertaining to invoices received. The Accounting Clerk II reviews the systems established to ensure compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience working in a general office with some accounting responsibilities and Sage OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements.
  • Ability to type and perform data entry.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to operate various general office equipment including a telephone, typewriter, computer, fax machine and adding machine.
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail with constant breaks in concentration associated with answering phones, or speaking to persons requiring assistance.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing in an effective and professional manner including the providing of clear instructions to employees.
  • Ability to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Ability to travel when needed to accomplish assigned job duties.
  • Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

  • Generates and processes all monthly and miscellaneous invoicing.
  • Assembles invoices and corresponding backup, scans and e-mails to appropriate field units.
  • Researches and responds to questions regarding invoicing.
  • Provides support and participates in cross training in other accounting and finance functions.
  • Researches, compiles, interprets, and summarizes information for various reports, spreadsheets, surveys, and special projects.
  • Researches files, accounts, records, etc. to resolve problems and/or correct documented information.
  • Informs appropriate people of discoveries.
