Account Supervisor, Arts & Culture Public Relations

BerlinRosen is seeking an Account Supervisor to join their growing Arts & Culture team. The role involves creating strategies and promoting programs to drive media and consumer attendance at events, exhibits, and openings. The Account Supervisor will lead the day-to-day account flow, manage junior staff and client relations, and conceptualize and execute client event activations. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in strategic communications in the arts and culture industry, a strong understanding of the art world, and excellent storytelling and writing skills.

• Conceptualize and drive new story angles and media opportunities for clients
• Place numerous stories through persistence and creativity
• Write high-quality client deliverables such as strategic plans, press releases, talking points, invites, and blogs
• Serve as day-to-day client contact and lead client calls
• Manage client communications in a timely manner
• Conceptualize and execute client event activations
• Ideate and secure partnerships and promotions with like-minded brands and media partners
• Drive day-to-day execution with little guidance and stay on track of client deliverables
• Have at least 5 years of experience in strategic communications in the arts and culture industry
• Understand the art world and have a personal interest in visual and performing arts
• Strong storytelling skills
• Versatile writer comfortable with informal and formal writing styles
• Savviness and creativity in media relations, pitching, social media content ideation, and influencer engagement.

• At least 5 years of experience working in strategic communications in the arts and culture industry at a PR agency, media outlet, or in-house communications team
• Understanding of the art world and a demonstrated personal interest in visual and performing arts
• Strong storytelling skills
• Versatile writer comfortable with writing in an informal, conversational tone and addressing people more formally when necessary
• Savviness and creativity in media relations and pitching, social media content ideation, and influencer engagement
