About The Position

Majik is hiring Account Retention Specialists to manage customer accounts, support collections, and find solutions that help customers keep their accounts current. The company provides training for candidates without rent-to-own experience and emphasizes building customer relationships, delivering positive customer experiences, and supporting employee growth. Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome, and bilingual candidates may earn additional pay.

This is a full-time role with a 40-hour, five-day workweek. The stated schedule includes Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and required Saturday work from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday is closed. Schedules may vary based on business needs. The role involves local travel for customer visits and field visits, as well as collecting and processing payments both in-store and in the field.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Highly organized, with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and results-driven.
• Comfortable using systems to manage accounts.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Willingness to travel locally for customer visits.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; assistance is available for heavier items.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in collections, retail, or customer-focused roles is preferred.
• Bilingual ability, as bilingual candidates may earn additional pay.
• Spanish-speaking ability is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Own customer accounts and proactively work to keep them current.
• Analyze account activity and determine appropriate solutions.
