About The Position

Majik is hiring Account Retention Specialists for collections and customer solutions. The role focuses on maintaining customer relationships and keeping accounts current through proactive account management, payment collection, field visits, and resolution of customer concerns. No rent-to-own experience is required; training is provided. Spanish is spoken, and bilingual candidates may earn additional pay.

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour, five-day workweek. The schedule includes Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.–7 p.m., and required Saturday shifts from 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; Sunday is closed. Schedules may vary based on business needs. The role involves local travel for customer visits and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with assistance for heavier items.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and results-driven.
• Comfortable using systems to manage accounts.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Willingness to travel locally for customer visits.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with assistance for heavier items.

• One or more years of experience in collections, retail, or customer-focused roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own customer accounts and proactively keep them current.
• Analyze account activity and determine appropriate solutions.
• Communicate with customers, references, and landlords.
• Collect and process payments accurately, both in-store and in the field.
• Maintain accurate documentation and account records.
• Manage field visits professionally and efficiently.
