About The Position

Majik is hiring Account Retention Specialists for collections and customer solutions. The role focuses on maintaining customer accounts, helping customers resolve account issues, collecting payments, and meeting collections and retention goals. No rent-to-own experience is required because training is provided. The position involves customer communication and local field visits, as well as in-store work. The schedule is 40 hours per week over five days, with Saturday work required; schedules may vary based on business needs.

Pay starts at $16 or more per hour, with monthly bonus potential and the opportunity to earn up to $18 per hour. The company describes opportunities for career advancement and promotes from within. Blue Ocean Brands does not conduct routine pre-employment drug testing, but may require testing for reasonable suspicion, workplace accidents, or as required by law.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Highly organized, with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and results-driven.
• Comfortable using systems to manage accounts.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Willingness to travel locally for customer visits.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, with assistance for heavier items.

Responsibilities

• Own customer accounts and proactively work to keep them current.
