About The Position

Aston Carter is urgently hiring an Account Receivable Specialist in Austin, TX. This is a contract-to-hire position requiring the candidate to be located closer to Austin, Texas. The role involves managing large, complex customer portfolios, performing high-volume analytical collections, and handling administrative tasks. The specialist will also navigate company and customer portals, update Excel reports, and maintain accurate data in multiple ERP systems. Additional accounts receivable, collections, cash application, and general accounting tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, and/or general accounting is Mandatory
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Workday, as well as other accounting software and ERP platforms is Mandatory
Must be located closer to Austin, Texas

Nice To Haves

Proven experience in high-volume analytical collections, including handling 60-80 daily collections and accounts receivable or customer service activities is Preferred

Responsibilities

Manage large, complex customer portfolios, including accounts with up to 170 sub-accounts, ensuring each sub-account is contacted at least twice per month.
Perform high-volume analytical collections activities, processing 40–60 accounts receivable and collections notes per day (approximately 5–6 hours daily).
Balance daily workload with 2–3 hours of email communication, payment processing, and related administrative tasks.
Navigate company and customer portals to obtain necessary information and update complex Excel reports, including those using VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
Maintain accurate customer and transaction data within multiple ERP systems used by various supported organizations.
Perform additional accounts receivable, collections, cash application, and general accounting tasks and projects as assigned.
