About The Position

The Commercial Lines Account Manager manages and services an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance clients. The role serves as the main point of contact for client needs, processes renewals, and ensures compliance with underwriting guidelines. The successful candidate has a strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages and industry trends, along with excellent communication and time-management skills. This is a hybrid role based in the Carrollton office, with three days in the office and two days remote each week. Applicants must be authorized to work in and currently reside in the United States.

Requirements

Property & Casualty insurance license required.
At least 5 years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience.
Proficiency in Applied Systems, electronic signature platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related tools.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact for service needs across an assigned book of business.
Assess and evaluate renewal requests for compliance with underwriting guidelines, providing assistance when needed.
Work with Account Associates to ensure account tasks—including binding coverage, invoicing, and collecting premiums—are handled properly.
Focus on client retention and collaborate with the Sales Consultant to support a high retention rate.
Manage customer requests and correspondence for assigned clients, and cover desks for the team as needed.
Stay informed about rates, forms, and coverage changes, and learn the company’s submissions and proposals process for policies.
