About The Position

ASCENDING Inc. is hiring an Account Executive to win new clients for its IT staffing services and grow those client relationships over time. The company has nearly doubled in size over the last year and attributes its growth and new business wins in part to its custom screening process and industry-leading consultant benefits.

This role is suited to an exceptionally driven candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset. It involves substantial on-the-job learning, so mindset and attitude are emphasized. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, take complete ownership of their work, and demonstrate an exceptional work ethic. The position is based in the DC Metro Area, with four days onsite in 22031.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree.
• 3–10 years of experience in business-to-business sales or another performance-driven role.
• Strong polish and professionalism.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record as a self-starter, with examples to share.
• Passion for solving problems and learning.
• Self-motivation, ownership of work, and an exceptional work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• Previous talent acquisition experience (highly preferred).
• Industry experience in technology, finance, fintech, or accounting.
