The Account Executive (AE) builds long-lasting relationships with retail agent and broker clients by delivering competitive premium finance loan offerings. The AE evaluates loan opportunities, underwrites credit risk within delegated authority, and delivers executable, binding loan commitments and agreements with rates and terms suited to borrowers’ needs. Credit decisioning involves interpreting borrower financial statements; reviewing insurance policy binders and endorsements and their effects on collateral and exposure; comparing competing products; pricing interest rates; and making recommendations or escalating larger transactions when additional authority is required. Credit authority may increase with experience, up to $100,000 in exposure and $1 million per transaction. Transactions beyond the AE’s authority are developed with Credit Administration and management. Working with Sales Teammates, Underwriting, Management, and Loan Processing, the AE provides daily loan quotes and underwriting, pursues quote and renewal opportunities, and reviews executed loan documents for compliance with approvals and conditions. The AE reports on production, lost quotes, new business, and portfolio returns, and tracks territory performance against goals. The role is largely independent and primarily remote, with underwriting, quoting, and processing completed electronically in a web-based environment. The employee must be willing to work Mountain or Pacific time-zone hours and may travel occasionally, including overnight.
