About The Position

We specialize in AI-powered digital wargaming and Command & Control systems that help users understand complexity, make better decisions, and operate at scale. The Role: We are hiring an Account Executive to grow Hadean’s presence across the US defense and government market. This is a hands-on sales role. You’ll be responsible for building your own pipeline, getting in front of the right people and working opportunities through to close. A big part of the job is knowing where we should be spending time and making sure we’re in the conversations that matter. You will work closely with senior leadership to extend our sales capability, taking ownership of early-stage engagements and supporting their progression into deals. That includes building new relationships, developing existing ones, and making sure Hadean is showing up in the right programs and discussions. This is not a high-volume sales role. It requires a thoughtful approach to navigating complex organizations, understanding how decisions are made, and building credibility with the right people. We are looking for someone who is proactive, well-connected, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy. You should be able to create opportunities, prioritize effectively and follow through to deliver results.

Requirements

  • Experience selling into the US defense or government ecosystem
  • Strong network within relevant organizations and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline and convert opportunities into deals
  • Ability to understand complex environments and identify where opportunities align
  • Strong commercial judgment and deal awareness
  • Skilled at connecting the dots across conversations, stakeholders, and programs to build momentum
  • Ability to create opportunities by aligning needs, timing, and stakeholders
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Self-starter with a proactive, outcome-focused approach

Nice To Haves

  • May not have held a long tenure in senior sales roles, but brings relevant defense experience, strong networks and the ability to open doors quickly.
  • Thrives in ambiguity, is proactive in building pipeline and understands how to move opportunities from initial engagement through to conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Generate high-quality leads across US defense and government organizations
  • Build and leverage networks to expand Hadean’s presence and credibility
  • Support lead conversion by shaping early-stage opportunities and engagements
  • Take on elements of senior sales responsibility to scale outbound efforts
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders within defense programs and agencies
  • Contribute to the growth and development of Hadean’s defense network
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to align opportunities with product capabilities
