About the position
Mission Lane is seeking Account Coordinators to join their Customer Advocacy department on the Collections and Recoveries team. The ideal candidates are problem-solvers with excellent communication skills and a passion for exceeding customer expectations. This role involves serving as the voice of Mission Lane in phone interactions, assisting customers who have fallen behind on payments, and negotiating payment or settlement plans. Responsibilities
- Serve as the voice of Mission Lane in phone interactions with customers
- Speak with customers who have fallen behind on payment and approach them with dignity and respect
- Help customers improve their financial health by negotiating payment or settlement plans
- Prioritize the financial well-being of customers
- Drive forward the mission of financial inclusion
- Exceed customer expectations
- Have the ability to speak easily and confidently
- Develop skills in a professional environment
- Go above and beyond for customers
- Have sales or negotiation experience, or the ability to speak persuasively

- Multitask while speaking with customers

- Have a High School diploma or GED
- Work in a private, quiet, distraction-free, interruption-free work area if working remotely
- Work the 12:30pm - 9pm Eastern Time shift
- Be a resident of one of the following US states: AR, AZ, FL, GA, MO, PA, TX, UT, and VA

Requirements
- 1+ year(s) experience in any professional environment where going above and beyond for customers is the number one priority
- Experience in sales or negotiation, or the ability to speak persuasively
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with technology and software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability
- Resourcefulness and resilience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask while speaking with customers
- Ability to recover quickly from difficult conversations
- High School diploma or GED
