About The Position

The Account Clerk position is an administrative role within the New Philadelphia City School District. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete records, working collaboratively in a team environment, and meeting all deadlines. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Experience using or willingness to learn Uniform School Accounting Software - USPS module or the Redesign
  • Experience or willingness to learn governmental fund accounting
  • Knowledge of GAAP reporting, employment contracts, payroll tax reporting
  • Proficient with Microsoft EXCEL, Word and Google
  • Ability to maintain accurate and complete records and work in TEAM environment
  • Work well in collaboration with others
  • Be able to dedicate the time to this position to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain confidentiality
