To perform all clerical tasks in the school office as assigned and maintain accurate records of school accounts. This role requires the ability to work independently in meeting the public, handle incoming calls, type and reproduce forms, administer minor first aid, prepare information for support personnel, assist staff, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records. The position involves recording cash receipts and deposits, processing cash payments, acting as a counter signee for checks, submitting receipts and payable vouchers, balancing school accounts, reconciling bank statements, preparing requisitions, monitoring student/parent organization accounts, preparing purchase orders, receiving and verifying shipments, verifying invoices, maintaining property control inventory, managing petty cash, preparing forms for admission fees and transportation, preparing reports for charity drives, maintaining files on vandalism, theft, student insurance, and accident/incident reports. The employee must provide their own transportation for work-related responsibilities and perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
