About The Position

Veolia is seeking an entry-level Account Associate for its Chemical Solutions and Monitoring (CSM) division. The role supports experienced Account Managers while building foundational knowledge of chemical water-treatment solutions. The associate will work with customers in varied industries and gain hands-on experience in technical analysis, customer service, and water-treatment technologies.

The position includes mentoring and technical and commercial training, with the aim of developing the associate toward independent technical analysis and potential advancement to Account Representative. The work involves learning about Cooling Water, Boiler Water, Wastewater, and Memchem applications; collecting samples and reviewing treatment data; assisting with reports and account documentation; and participating in customer visits and service calls. The associate must follow EHS policies and safe work practices at industrial sites.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or candidate with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Interest in chemical water and process treatment.
• Full, valid driver's license and willingness to travel; a learner's permit or G1/G2 class does not qualify.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
• Proficiency in mathematical calculations and chemistry concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a mentoring environment.
• Comfort learning in industrial environments.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed; frequency varies by worksite.
• Must be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; the employer will not sponsor work authorization.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Engineering/Technologist (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical).
• Strong academic background or internship experience in technical fields and/or industrial environments.
• Enthusiasm for environmental sustainability and water treatment.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Account Managers to learn chemical treatment programs for Cooling Water, Boiler Water, Wastewater, and Memchem applications.
• Collect and run samples, evaluate treatment data, and help prepare technical reports under Account Manager supervision.
• Complete technical training programs covering chemical applications and water-treatment processes.
• Assist with customer visits and service calls.
• Maintain customer records, help schedule samples, and support account documentation.
• Prepare preliminary technical reports and data summaries for review and approval by an Account Manager.
• Follow EHS policies and procedures and learn safe work practices in industrial settings.
• Support Account Manager activities accurately and on time while developing proficiency in sample collection and basic data analysis.
