About The Position

The Program Supervisor Trainee role is designed to bridge the gap for clinicians who are pursuing their BCaBA or BCBA certification while gaining essential supervisory experience. Unlike many ABA companies that expect supervisors to be already certified or to remain as RBTs, KEBM invests in developing supervisory skills from the outset. This role offers full pay and support while the trainee completes their Master's degree and prepares for certification exams. The trainee period is focused on deliberate development rather than being a passive waiting period. KEBM is a five-clinic ABA therapy company founded in 2016, with locations across Southern California and Georgia. They employ over 68 professionals who utilize the proprietary S.O.C.I.A.L. P.O.D.S. methodology, which integrates social skills, behavior intervention, and individualized goals within a structured group dynamic. Therapy is delivered in a play-like environment through their Sensory Spot locations. KEBM serves a diverse client base, including insurance-funded, private pay, open play, and camp families, emphasizing clinical quality and client outcomes. Requirements

• Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or related field (in progress accepted).
• BCaBA or BCBA candidacy.
• 1+ years of ABA experience required.
• Pursuing a Master's degree (or have it) and desire clinical supervisory experience.
• Read data before acting on intuition and be able to explain clinical reasoning.
• Commitment to obtaining BCaBA or BCBA certification.

Nice To Haves

• RBT certification.
• Some supervised hours accumulated toward BCaBA/BCBA.
• Bilingual (Spanish).
• Prior experience supervising direct-care staff in any setting.

Responsibilities

• Run pods and supervise RBTs with real authority within their scope, under the Clinical Director's oversight.
• Contribute to functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and treatment plans.
• Deliver direct clinical services, including skill acquisition programs, behavior reduction protocols, and crisis intervention.
• Coach Lead RBTs and RBTs in real time on data interpretation, program fidelity, and intervention selection.
• Document all activities, including progress notes, session summaries, data review, and program changes.
• Serve all clients equally, including insurance, private pay, open play, camps, and consultation clients (at Master's level).
