About The Position

Legends Global, a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Production Technician. This role involves the setup, operation, breakdown, inventory, and maintenance of broadcast, audio, lighting, and video equipment for over 200 events annually, including New Orleans Saints and Pelicans game day broadcasts, concerts, and special events. The technician will assume assigned production roles, respond to client needs, and provide technical support throughout events. The position requires strong communication, organization, and customer service skills, along with the ability to operate various A/V equipment for successful event production. Special projects and other duties as assigned are also part of the role.

Requirements

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Five (5) years of experience in a related field
• Experience in broadcast production and A/V equipment for assigned responsibilities
• Must have a working knowledge of broadcast production, audio, video, lighting, and general A/V equipment
• Able to operate machines such as scissor and bucket lifts
• Able to work at heights over 50 ft
• Must be able to lift and push a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to spend long periods on your feet

Responsibilities

• Setup, operation, breakdown, inventory, and maintenance of broadcast, audio, lighting, and video equipment for over 200 events per year
• Handle A/V requirements for New Orleans Saints and Pelicans game day broadcasts, Concert & Special Events
• Assume assigned production role and responsibilities as required
• Understand and respond to client needs
• Communicate in a friendly, respectful, and understandable manner
• Operate equipment requirements for successful event production
• Provide technical support throughout events as assigned
• Work on special projects
• Perform all other duties as assigned
