About The Position

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking an A/R Specialist to join our team. This role manages an Accounts Receivable portfolio of up to $10 million. The A/R Specialist will analyze customer accounts for account aging, track payment practices, and past-due balances. They will resolve issues regarding past-due items, pricing, quantity disputes, and unauthorized products. Communication with customers will be via phone, email, fax, and post regarding account information. The specialist will also communicate with the appropriate Pepsi Bottling Ventures branches and corporate departments regarding account information and make recommendations to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor. Additionally, they will generate and transmit statements per customer and management request, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • A minimum of two (2) years related business experience managing an accounts receivable portfolio
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Must enjoy interacting and working with people
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree in Business Administration preferred
  • Some Accounting courses are preferred
