In this role, you will primarily handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable along with general bookkeeping support. We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented professional who excels in customer contact and communication.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated experienced in a similar A/P, A/R, or bookkeeping role
• Direct experience with collection activities
• Working knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise or similar accounting software
• Ability to successfully complete a background check, drug screen, and clean driving record; subject to applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Perform collection activities daily providing professional follow-up on outstanding balances with customers
• Maintain an average collections below 45 days
• Record payments to customer accounts with daily deposits
• Prepare electronic payments and checks for approval
• Reconcile expenses and credit card statements
• Maintain clean and organized financial records within QuickBooks Enterprise
• Assist with bank reconciliations
• Ensure financial digital and physical files are organized and up to date
