About The Position

BridgePrep Academy Polk County is seeking a dedicated 4th Grade ELA & Social Studies Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The school offers a nurturing, high-performing learning environment featuring Spanish language immersion, classroom technology, and character development. The teacher will inspire students, foster their interest in reading and writing, and prepare them for middle school success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Valid or eligible Florida Educator Certificate in Elementary Education (Grades K–6) or English (Grades 5–9).
• Ability to successfully pass a Level 2 Florida Care Provider Background Screening.

Nice To Haves

• ESOL Endorsement or Certification.
• Reading Endorsement.
• Prior upper-elementary teaching experience.
• Familiarity with Florida B.E.S.T. ELA standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver interactive, standards-aligned reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and social studies lessons that build curiosity and reading comprehension.
• Maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom where every student feels valued, capable, and motivated to succeed.
• Differentiate instruction and use data-driven small groups to support varied learning styles, English Language Learners, and reading levels.
• Participate in professional development, weekly team planning, and instructional coaching.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with families.
