About The Position
BridgePrep Academy Broward is seeking a dedicated First Grade Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned primary instruction. The teacher will partner with SMART Management in providing a student-centered academic experience enriched by technology and Spanish language integration. This is a full-time position for the 2026–27 school year at BridgePrep Academy Broward in Hollywood, Florida.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Elementary Education, Early Childhood, or a related field.
- Valid or eligible Florida Teaching Certificate in Prekindergarten/Primary Education (Age 3–Grade 3) or Elementary Education (K–6).
- Level 2 Florida Care Provider Background Screening.
Nice To Haves
- ESOL or Reading Endorsements.
- Master’s degree.
- Prior primary teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging primary lessons focused on foundational reading, writing, mathematics, and mastery of state standards.
- Maintain a structured, nurturing classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction for ESE, 504, and ELL scholars and provide required accommodations.
- Participate in weekly coaching and professional development.
- Submit lesson plans and student data on time.
- Maintain regular communication with families.
