About The Position

Responsible for receiving, putting away, picking, and shipping inventory belonging to the facility’s 3PL customers. The role includes recording incoming customer inventory in the WMS or spreadsheet records, placing received inventory into storage, fulfilling dispatched orders, preparing orders for shipment, and conducting quality-control checks. The employee also assists with customer cycle counts and inventory audits throughout the year.

The position requires maintaining client inventory according to 3PL customer SOPs, reporting inventory shortages, overages, and discrepancies to the appropriate warehouse, inventory-control, and customer-service teams, and keeping the warehouse clean and operating safely and efficiently according to company standards. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Attendance at meetings and training may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to pass STA certification and TSA training.
• Ability to exert up to 65 pounds of force occasionally, frequently, and/or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Availability for flexible and sometimes long hours.

• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive product into the WMS.
• Put away product as assigned by the system or manager.
• Pick shipping orders from assigned pick locations.
• Prepare orders for shipment, including boxing, palletizing, and wrapping as necessary.
• Perform quality-control checks on outbound orders.
• Report shortages or overages and provide the results to the inventory control lead or warehouse manager.
• Report discrepancies to the customer service and warehouse teams.
• Maintain client inventory according to the 3PL customer SOP.
• Assist with customer cycle counts and inventory audits throughout the year.
• Comply with NNR USA standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient business operations.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness to company standards.
• Attend meetings and training as required by management.
• Perform other assigned responsibilities and duties as necessary.
