About The Position

The 2nd Assistant Store Manager supports store operations and helps deliver an exceptional guest experience while driving sales growth. The role contributes to a welcoming store environment, builds customer relationships and loyalty, supports the Store Manager in developing a high-performing team, and assists with inventory, expense control, safety, and loss prevention. The position requires working in a fragrance-filled environment and flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

High school completion or equivalent GED.

Responsibilities

Help create a welcoming store environment focused on an exceptional guest experience.
Use product knowledge to understand guest needs and make emotional connections.
Implement company selling strategies and build customer relationships to maximize sales and enhance loyalty.
Promote guest loyalty through the Rewards Loyalty program and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Help maintain store appearance in accordance with visual standards, including plan-o-grams, visual maintenance, signage, and cleanliness.
Support the Store Manager in building a high-performing team that represents Newell Brand Values.
Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and effective communication.
Support inventory management activities and control expenses.
Apply safety and loss prevention measures in daily activities and follow company policies and the Code of Ethics.
Work toward achieving or exceeding KPI goals through strategic planning, effective execution, and continuous performance improvement.
