About The Position

The Inpatient Wound Care Nurse is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing evidence-based wound care treatments for patients across the inpatient setting. This role works closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to promote optimal wound healing outcomes, prevent complications, and support overall patient recovery.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Alabama RN License required.
  • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required.
  • Current ACLS/BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Wound care experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent patient care assessment skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
