Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively with the Charge Nurse and or nursing Director.
- Communicates and collaborates closely with physicians, and inpatient nurse managers, and other member of the health care team to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds.
- Supports all inpatient activities to support the Pressure Ulcer Prevention (P.U.P.) And Wound Care Program.
- Accepts responsibility and accountability for assigned patients to implement and evaluate the care for adult and geriatric clients.
- Works within the framework of the Florida State Nurse Practice Act and follows all hospital policies and procedures.
- Complies with hospital and nursing philosophy and standards while performing job duties and responsibilities.
- Demonstrates competence in key areas through the ability to perform functions, including, but not limited to, the common examples listed.
