About The Position
Company Wrench is seeking a dedicated, career-minded Welder to join its team in Carroll, Ohio. The role involves preparing and machining raw steel, fitting and welding assemblies, performing portable line boring, fabricating hydraulic tube and hose assemblies, and installing hydraulic plumbing on weldments. Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience.
- Competency in semi-automatic gas metal arc welding (GMAW) in all positions.
- Competency in manual shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) in all positions.
- Competency with oxy-fuel torching.
- Competency with carbon-arc torching.
- Knowledge of portable line boring and basic machining.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- High school diploma.
Responsibilities
- Cut raw steel material.
- Perform milling, drilling, and lathe work.
- Fit and tack weldments together.
- Perform final welding of structures.
- Perform portable line boring.
- Fabricate hydraulic tube and hose assemblies.
- Install hydraulic plumbing on weldments.
