About The Position

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Welder Level III to perform advanced welding, fabrication, and mechanical duties using SMAW, MIG, and TIG welding processes on various materials, including mild and stainless steel. The role independently fabricates and assembles complex components and equipment for conveyor systems, food handling equipment, structures, and other construction projects. The Welder Level III supports crew Leads and other team members in completing fabrication and installation work as needed. The position is located in Construction and may require various shifts based on business needs.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience as a Welder Level II or at the Journeyman Level performing advanced welding and fabrication work independently with minimal direction.
• Experience with SMAW, MIG, and TIG welding in all positions.
• Knowledge of appropriate welding rods for various projects.
• Familiarity with measuring complex layouts and using various measuring methods and tools.
• Ability to work various shifts based on business needs.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company policy, insurance, and DMV requirements.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.
