Requirements

• Professional experience in voice acting, voice coaching, dialect coaching, vocal pedagogy, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong practical understanding of vocal performance and speech production.
• Ability to accurately analyse and describe vocal characteristics.
• Knowledge of speech analysis, prosody, intonation, and phonetics.
• Experience identifying accent and dialect features from spoken recordings.
• Understanding of vocal pitch, resonance, placement, phonation, breath support, vocal control, and articulation techniques.
• Ability to evaluate speech rhythm, tempo, vocal energy, emotional tone, and expressive delivery.
• Understanding of differences between scripted, spontaneous, and conversational speech.
• Strong analytical listening skills and attention to subtle vocal details.
• Experience in vocal instruction, performance coaching, or speech-related assessment.
• Ability to assess recording quality and identify relevant acoustic characteristics.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to explain complex vocal concepts using clear, consistent terminology.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical accuracy, and organisational skills, including the ability to follow structured evaluation guidelines.
• Ability to work independently on remote audio review and documentation assignments.
• Effective verbal communication and asynchronous collaboration skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Reliable internet connection and high-quality headphones suitable for detailed audio evaluation.
• Commitment to confidentiality and consistent quality across assigned work.

Responsibilities

• Analyse short speech recordings using established vocal and speech analysis methodologies.
• Identify and describe vocal characteristics such as pitch, resonance, phonation, vocal quality, rhythm, tempo, breath support, and articulation clarity.
• Analyse prosody, including intonation, stress, rhythm, and pitch variation, and evaluate phonetic characteristics and speech production.
• Identify accent or dialect features when sufficiently clear and assess pronunciation, articulation, and vocal delivery across samples.
• Evaluate vocal energy, emotional expression, delivery style, vocal placement, breath control, and expressive variation.
• Distinguish characteristics of scripted, spontaneous, and conversational speech.
• Assess recording quality, acoustic characteristics, recording devices, room acoustics, background sound, and recording environments.
• Prepare clear, structured technical reports describing vocal, phonetic, and acoustic observations.
• Provide detailed expert feedback to support improvements in AI voice and speech systems.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project stakeholders through digital communication platforms.
• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professional documentation standards across assigned evaluations.
