North Griffin Animal Hospital is a family-owned small animal practice in Griffin, Georgia, just 30 minutes south of Atlanta. Our practice has been consistently voted as the Best Vet Office in Griffin, and we work hard to maintain this standard. Our team has nearly 30 years of experience with veterinary medicine. Our facility provides preventative and wellness care, surgery, urgent care, dentistry, and more. Our complete wellness packages include vaccinations, check-ups, and heartworm prevention. Whether clients are in need of routine procedures or more serious operations, we perform a wide range of surgeries in-house including spays, neuters, oral, and soft tissue surgery. Our team is proud to offer the latest medicine including blood work, radiology, EKGs, disease testing, and more. Griffin is a pleasant suburb in the Atlanta metro area. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Pet restraint, triage incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-years experience preferred
  • Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
  • Must be able to properly restrain pets
  • Proficient in sample collection, obtaining medical histories, processing laboratory tests and radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring are a bonus!
  • Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
