About The Position
IndeVets is seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian for Kansas City. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice veterinary medicine with a focus on well-being, providing sustainable career paths, control over your schedule, and guaranteed income. As a part-time W-2 veterinarian working 1-3 days per week, you will earn a guaranteed salary with a schedule you control, built in advance by a dedicated scheduling coordinator. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will practice across a variety of trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the consistency, support, and stability of a single employer. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy with no production quotas, no negative accrual, and no restrictive non-competes. You will have dedicated medical leadership, mentorship, and a collaborative community of fellow veterinarians, along with access to a veterinary social worker and ongoing CE and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
- Active license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
- Confidence practicing independently
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
Nice To Haves
- GP, ER, or urgent care experience
- Internship training
