About The Position

The University of Illinois at Chicago Department of Surgery seeks a full-time surgeon to provide the full breadth of Transplant Surgery services. The Professor of Clinical Surgery/Physician Surgeon will function as a Transplant Surgeon. This position will be responsible for providing patient care and clinical activities in the area of Transplant Surgery.

Requirements

  • MD Degree
  • Training in a Surgical Residency Program
  • Illinois Medical License

Responsibilities

  • Assist the department with teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Provide clinical patient care
  • Participate in clinical research
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
