About The Position

The Division of Transplantation in the Department of Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP), seek a full-time multi-organ abdominal transplant surgeon. Candidates must be board-certified/eligible in general surgery and have completed an ASTS approved transplant fellowship. Candidates must have experience in liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation, as well as multi-organ donor procurement. Experience in hepatobiliary surgery, living donor transplantation, and robotic surgery is highly desirable. Candidates must be eligible for a full medical license in Massachusetts. A track record of clinical excellence and scholarly activities is required, as the candidate will be expected to be involved in the research and academic mission of the Division. Responsibilities will also include teaching surgery residents, fellows and medical students. Appointment as Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities.
