About The Position
K-12 Therapy is seeking an experienced in-home Personal Care Assistant to function as an Instructional Aide for an Autistic child attending a cyber school program. The student requires 8 hours of aide support per week during their school day. This position is expected to extend through the summer and into the next school year.
Requirements
- Current FBI/BCI clearances
- Current child abuse clearances
- Child abuse reporting training
- At least 60 college credits or an associate's degree
Nice To Haves
- Experience as an in-home Personal Care Assistant
- Experience working with Autistic children
- Ideal for long-term Substitute Teacher
- Ideal for third-year teaching student
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional aide support to an Autistic child in a cyber school program.
- Work with the student during their school day for 8 hours per week.
- Provide in-home support.
Benefits
- Up to $27.00 per hour
- Mileage reimbursement at a rate of $.534 cents per mile
