About The Position

Synaptic Pediatric Therapies is seeking passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), including new graduates and experienced professionals, to join their dynamic, supportive, and inspiring team. The mission is to transform young lives through compassionate care, innovative treatments, and collaborative teamwork, empowering children to communicate confidently and connect with the world. The role involves evaluating and treating children and young adults with diverse speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication needs, developing individualized Plans of Care, collaborating with families, and staying current with professional development and evidence-based practices. Maintaining detailed documentation and adhering to all licensure and certification requirements are also key aspects of the position.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • A valid Texas state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certification (or are a Clinical Fellow eager to grow).
  • A collaborative spirit, thriving in a team setting alongside occupational therapists and fellow SLPs.
  • Experience (or a passion to gain experience!) with a wide variety of conditions, including articulation, fluency, swallowing, and AAC devices.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat children and young adults with diverse speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication needs.
  • Develop individualized Plans of Care with meaningful short- and long-term goals tailored to each child’s unique journey.
  • Collaborate with families to maximize skill carryover and provide essential resources.
  • Stay at the forefront of your field with professional development and evidence-based practices.
  • Maintain detailed documentation while adhering to all licensure and certification requirements.
