About The Position

The Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) will provide psychology services in an educational setting as assigned by the Special Education Director. This role requires a Master's degree in psychology and a valid Texas license in school psychology. The LSSP will be responsible for assessing students' achievement, and emotional and behavioral functioning for educational purposes. The position also involves other duties as assigned. MPISD does not sponsor H1-B visas.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in psychology
  • Valid Texas license in school psychology
  • Two years of experience in providing psychology services in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of procedures for assessing achievement and intellectual, emotional, and behavioral functioning for educational purposes
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
