About The Position
The Jefferson Hotel is seeking a professional and service-driven Full-Time or Part-Time Room Service Attendant to join our In-Room Dining team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guest rooms while also supporting our traditional Afternoon Tea service as needed. We are looking for candidates must be flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Requirements
- Must be available to work AM (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM) or PM (2:00 PM – 1:00 AM) shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Previous food service or hospitality experience required; in-room dining or fine dining preferred
- Polished appearance with strong guest service skills
- Clear and professional communication with guests and team members
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, accuracy, and presentation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift and carry trays or carts and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Reliable, team-oriented, and guest-focused
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of food service or hospitality experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and professionally
- Set up trays and carts according to hotel presentation standards
- Communicate guest orders and special requests accurately with the kitchen
- Retrieve trays and carts in a timely and discreet manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of Room Service areas and pantries
- Respond to guest requests and concernswith professionalism and urgency
- Support Afternoon Tea service in various roles as needed, including assisting with setup, service, and guest experience
- Uphold service standards in all guest interactions
