As a Security Officer Full Time Package Screening in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal property in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor or delivery activity as required by site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
