As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Part Time in Sheboygan Falls, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a secure environment. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s caring, reliable culture.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry procedures, and documenting arrivals, departures, and incidents.
- Complete detailed activity reports, communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and support established emergency evacuation and response procedures.
