About The Position
We are seeking a professional and reliable Second Shift Concierge Security Officer to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment at a residential property. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, a calm and courteous demeanor, and previous experience in a concierge or front-desk role.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must have a valid Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 year of residential concierge or front desk security experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods
- Able to work independently
- Must pass a drug screening and background check
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist residents, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Enforce access control procedures and monitor visitor management systems
- Observe, report, and document incidents, safety hazards, or suspicious activity
- Conduct routine patrols of the property to ensure a secure and orderly environment
- Maintain situational awareness and respond promptly to emergencies or concerns
- Adhere to all company policies, post orders, and client procedures
- Communicate effectively with property management, clients, team members, and contractors
- Responsibly use company and client-provided equipment for security and monitoring tasks
- Perform additional duties as required by site management or MFort supervisors
