About The Position

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and employees by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, warehouse, and administrative areas.
• Screen visitors, vendors, and deliveries, maintain accurate access logs, and communicate access-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting security-related reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, paying close attention to gates, fences, loading areas, and other critical access points.
