About The Position
As a Security Officer Driver in Bay Minette, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring, collaborative environment. Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
- Monitor access to the location, verify visitor, contractor, and employee authorization, and maintain accurate logs and documentation.
- Observe and report potential hazards, unusual activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
