About The Position

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc., founded in 1973, is a leading US-owned security company that provides integrated security solutions to government and commercial customers across four continents. The company remains under family ownership and control, operating as an industry leader in customized, high-requirement security solutions, employing over 25,000 security officer personnel worldwide. The Senior Vice President of Operations will report to the Division President and be responsible for managing operational security force programs for large-scale National Accounts. This role involves acting as a liaison with client representatives to measure contract KPIs and key long-term initiatives, mentoring subordinate managers, and ensuring compliance with financial performance projections.

Requirements

  • Fully capable of managing and supervising large-scale security operations in a highly regulated environment
  • Possess effective communications skills, both written and oral
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree with ten (10) years of successful civilian or military equivalent law enforcement experience of which five (5) years must be in management
  • OR Bachelor’s degree with fifteen (15) years of successful security experience of which ten (10) years must be in management
  • OR Associate Degree with fifteen (15) years of successful civilian or military law enforcement experience, of which ten (10) years were in at a level of leadership
  • OR Successfully completed twenty (20) years of civilian or military equivalent law enforcement at the command level

  • Possess an MBA degree with an emphasis on P&L performance

Responsibilities

  • Interact with senior client representatives on designated clients to measure contract KPI’s and key long-term initiatives
  • Administer internal control programs to facilitate the operational or administrative requirements of the contract
  • Engage subordinate Managers and Security Operators to ensure contract compliance and define performance expectations
  • Receive and execute such technical directions as the client may issue within the terms and conditions of the contract
  • Ensure sound business practices are deployed to comply with financial performance projections
  • Maintain high standards of competence through such instruction and training for the Managers, Supervisors, and Security force
  • Provide direct management to subordinate personnel
