As a Security Officer supporting a government healthcare location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to visitors, staff, and patients. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and support compliance with facility access procedures and visitor-management requirements.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
