About The Position
DS Bus South LLC is seeking a responsible and safety-conscious School Bus Driver. The driver is responsible for safely transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely manner. Key responsibilities include performing pre-trip inspections, conducting child checks post-route, and ensuring the vehicle is maintained within DOT regulations. DS Bus Lines is a family-oriented company that prioritizes family, respect, service, and safety, understanding the significant responsibility of transporting children. Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
Responsibilities
- Transport clients to and from destinations.
- Arrive at destinations on schedule.
- Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
- Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
- Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
- Interact with clients professionally.
- Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
- Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
- Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Perform pre-trip inspections.
- Perform child checks post-route.
- Keep vehicle within DOT regulations.
