About The Position
We’re hiring a compassionate RN to join our established Intensive Outpatient Program, serving older adults in the La Junta, CO community since January 2026. This position will lead a small disciplinary team comprised of a psychiatric physician, therapist, and medical office coordinator. The role involves engaging with the local community through education, developing referrals, and growing/maintaining patient census, all while ensuring compliance with professional and ethical guidelines. The program is designed to meet the unique needs of individuals, typically 65 and older, experiencing depression and/or anxiety related to life changes often associated with aging.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse licensed in the state of practice required
- Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing required
- Work with kindness and accountability to enhance the quality of life for our patients. required
- Successful completion of a full background check is required for employment. At times, this may include drug testing.
Nice To Haves
- Psychiatric Nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead a small disciplinary team comprised of a psychiatric physician, therapist, and medical office coordinator providing services to the senior population.
- Engage with your local community through education (presentations, one-on-one meetings, etc.)
- Referral development through hospital staff, providers, and community resources
- Growing and maintaining patient census
- Ensure compliance through professional and ethical guidelines
