A Behavior Technician is a highly trained behavior intervention specialist with knowledge and skills necessary to support students through the application of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The Behavior Technician provides a full range of instructional and behavioral supports, follows established protocols, and implements students' Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP). The Behavior Technician is responsible for providing ongoing faculty/staff in-service training in consultation with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
