ABA Therapist/RBT - Registered Behavior Technician
About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is hiring behavior technicians to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes during afternoon and evening hours. In this hands-on role, the technician provides one-on-one support to children with autism or developmental delays, helping them build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. Technicians work consistently with the same children to support progress in their everyday environments. Training and support are provided. The role offers flexible, part-time hours that may supplement another job or school schedule. The employer matches technicians with clients based on their availability. Available cases in Phoenix, Arizona have schedules ranging from weekday afternoons and evenings to some weekend hours; one case requires comfort assisting with toileting needs. Pay is $21–$26 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, such as in a special education paraprofessional, one-to-one aide, classroom aide, after-school program, caregiving, or autism-related role.
- Availability during afternoons and evenings.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes using play-based ABA techniques to support learning and development.
- Follow step-by-step treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA.
- Track progress during each session using a data system on a phone or tablet.
- Collaborate with the BCBA and fellow technicians to provide consistent and effective support.
- Give families feedback about sessions and celebrate progress.
