ABA Therapist/RBT - Registered Behavior Technician
About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is hiring behavior technicians to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes during afternoon and evening hours. In this hands-on role, you will provide one-on-one support to children with autism or developmental delays, helping them build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. You will work consistently with the same children in their everyday environment and receive training and support. The listed available case is with a 7-year-old boy in Chandler, Arizona, Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. The role is described as flexible, part-time work that may supplement another job or school schedule. Pay is $21–$26 per hour, dependent on experience.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, such as in special education, as a 1:1 aide or classroom aide, in after-school programs, caregiving, or autism-related work.
- Availability during afternoon or evening hours.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes using play-based ABA techniques to support learning and development.
- Follow step-by-step treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA.
- Track progress during each session using a data system on a phone or tablet.
- Coordinate with the BCBA and fellow technicians to maintain consistent and effective support.
- Give families feedback about sessions and celebrate progress.
