About The Position

BehaviorCare Therapy is hiring behavior technicians to provide one-on-one support to children with autism or developmental delays in their homes. The role focuses on helping children build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. Technicians work consistently with the same children in their everyday environments and receive training and support.

Requirements

• Experience working with children, such as in a SPED para, 1:1 aide, classroom aide, after-school program, caregiving, or autism-related role.
• Availability during afternoon or evening hours.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children in their homes using play-based ABA techniques to support learning and development.
• Follow step-by-step treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA.
• Track progress during each session using a data system on a phone or tablet.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and fellow technicians to maintain consistent and effective support.
• Provide families with feedback about sessions and celebrate progress.
