ABA Therapist/RBT - Registered Behavior Technician
About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is hiring behavior technicians to provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to children with autism or developmental delays in their homes. Technicians help children build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence by following treatment plans designed by a licensed BCBA. The role involves working consistently with the same children in their everyday environment, with training and support provided. Available cases in Maricopa, AZ include a 7-year-old girl (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 3:30–5:30 PM; Wednesday, 1:30–3:30 PM), a 15-year-old girl (Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 3:30–5:30 PM; Wednesday, 1:30–3:30 PM, with two sessions extendable to three hours for a total of 10 hours per week), and a 2-year-old girl (Monday–Friday, 12–4 PM). Pay is $21–$26 per hour, depending on experience. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and is described as suitable for people seeking supplemental hours alongside work or school.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, such as in special education, as a one-to-one aide or classroom aide, in after-school programs, caregiving, or autism-related work.
- Availability during afternoon or evening hours.
- Reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check.

Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow step-by-step treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA.
- Track each session’s progress using a data system on a phone or tablet.
- Coordinate with the BCBA and fellow technicians to maintain consistent and effective support.
- Give families feedback about sessions and celebrate children’s progress.
