ABA Therapist/RBT - Registered Behavior Technician
About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is hiring behavior technicians to provide one-on-one support to children with autism or developmental delays in their homes. Technicians help children build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. They work consistently with the same children to support progress in the child’s everyday environment. Training and support are provided. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity, with client availability in Mesa, Arizona, including afternoon, evening, and some weekend times.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, such as in a special education paraprofessional, one-to-one aide, classroom aide, after-school program, caregiving, or autism-related role.
- Afternoon or evening availability; weekend availability is a plus.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes using play-based ABA techniques to support learning and development.
- Follow step-by-step treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA.
- Track progress during each session using a data system on a phone or tablet.
- Collaborate with the BCBA and fellow technicians to provide consistent and effective support.
- Give families feedback about sessions and celebrate progress.
